Wann findet die Museumsnacht statt?

• Datum: 29. August 2026
• Uhrzeit: 18:00 bis 24:00 Uhr, Beginn in Travemünde ab 15:00 Uhr

Was kostet das Ticket?

• Preis: 15 Euro 
• Ermäßigt*: 8 Euro
• Kinder bis 6 Jahre: Freier Eintritt
• Kostenfreier Eintritt in die Galerien !

*ermäßigt für Kinder und Jugendliche bis zu 18 Jahren | Schüler:innen, Student:innen und Auszubildende | FSJler:innen (Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr) | Inhaber:innen der LübeckCard und der Ehrenamtskarte | Schwerbehinderte mit mind. 50 GdB . Für Begleitpersonen von Schwerbehinderten gilt: Wenn im Schwerbehindertenausweis ausdrücklich ein B für Begleitperson eingetragen ist, erhalten Begleitpersonen freien Eintritt.

Gilt das Tagesticket für die Museumsnacht ?

• Nein, der Lübeck Day Pass und Day Pass Plus gilt nur für den Tagesbetrieb. Bitte beachten Sie: Die Museen beenden den Tagesbetrieb am 29. August bereits um 17:00 Uhr. 

Wo kann ich das Museumsnacht-Ticket kaufen?

• Verkaufsstellen: Early Bird Tickets im Vorverkauf bis zum 31.07.2026 ausschließlich Online. Reguläre Tickets erhalten Sie Online oder an jeder Museumskasse (außer Katharinenkirche), auch noch während der Museumsnacht.

Wo kann ich die Museumsnacht beginnen?

• Start: Überall möglich, auch in Travemünde!
• Eröffnung: Holstentor um 18:00 Uhr 

Wie informiere ich mich über teilnehmende Museen und das Programm?

• Online: Auf der Website der Lübecker Museen
• Newsletter: Mit unserem Newsletter bleiben Sie immmer auf dem aktuellen Stand. 
• Vor Ort: Flyer mit Übersichtsplänen in allen Museen und Partnerinstitutionen

Wie bewege ich mich am besten während der Museumsnacht?

• Veranstaltungsorte: Fast alle auf der Altstadtinsel und zu Fuß erreichbar, alle weiteren bequem und kostenfrei mit dem im Ticket inkludierten Museumsnachtshuttle zu erreichen. 

Ist die Museumsnacht auch für Kinder interessant?

• Programm: Buntes Angebot für junge Besucher:innen
• Eintritt: Für Kinder unter 6 Jahren frei

Ist die Museumsnacht auch für Nicht-Deutschsprachige interessant?

• Sprache: Kunst, Musik und Tanz bieten eine universelle Sprache, die alle Menschen einschließt.

Ist die Museumsnacht für Menschen mit Lernschwierigkeiten oder anderen Einschränkungen geeignet?

• Barrierefreiheit: Großteils gegeben, aktuelle Informationen auf der Website der Lübecker Museen
• Beispiel: Günter Grass-Haus hat ein taktiles System für sehbehinderte Personen.

Welcome to the FAQs for the Night of the Museums 2026! Here, you can find any important information about the event, from ticketing to schedules, special activities for children to accessibility. We look forward to offering you an unforgettable night full of art, culture, and entertainment.

When does Museum Night take place?

Date: August 29^th, 2026
Time: 6 p.m. to midnight, in Travemünde starting at 3 p.m. 

How much is a ticket?

Regular price: 15 euros
Discounted price*: 8 euros
Children up to 6 years: Free admission
Free admission to all galleries! 

*Discounted price for: children and young people up to the age of 18 | pupils, students and trainees | Severely disabled person with GdB 50 or higher and their accompanying person (B)  

Is the Lübeck Day Pass valid for Night of the Museums?

No, the pass is only valid during the day.
Please note: The museums will close their regular operations early at 5 p.m. on August 29^th. 

Where can I buy the Night of the Museums ticket?

Points of sale: Online or at any museum's ticket office (except St. Katharinen Church), even during Night of the Museums.

Where can I start my night?

Start: Anywhere you wish, including Travemünde!
Opening: At the Holstentor at 6:00 pm

How can I find out about participating museums and their program?

Online: On the Lübecker Museen website
Newsletter: Stay up to date with our newsletter!
On site: Overview maps in all museums and partnering institutions.

What's the best way to get around during the Night of the Museums?

Venues: Almost all institutions are located on the old town island and are within walking distance. All surrounding museums and partners can be reached easily and free of charge with the Night of the Museums bus shuttle.

Is the Night of the Museums suitable for families with children?

Program: We offer a wide range of activities for young visitors. 
Admission: Free for children under 6 years.

Is the Night of the Museums also interesting for non-German speakers?

Language: Art, music, and dance offer a universal language that includes everyone.

Is Night of the Museums suitable for people with learning difficulties or other disabilities?

Accessibility: Mostly available; current information can be found on the Lübecker Museen website.
Example: The Günter Grass House offers a tactile system for visually impaired visitors.

Are food and drink available on site?

Caterers: Our culinary partners offer delicacies, snacks, and drinks at key locations.
